Move your Rithmic exports into Tradeways

Export completed orders from Rithmic R|Trader as a CSV and import the fills into Tradeways. Rithmic timestamps carry no offset, so you select the file's time zone at import.

The export file

What a Rithmic export looks like

Tradeways reads the Completed Orders table of an Order History export. Each row is one order at its average fill price, and Tradeways groups the orders into trades. Rows without a Filled status are skipped, so a file without the Status column imports nothing. Order Number prevents duplicates when exports overlap. A Performance export, with one row per round trip, is also accepted.

How to import your Rithmic R|Trader trades into Tradeways

  1. In Rithmic R|Trader

    Open your completed orders

    In Rithmic R|Trader, open the order history for the account and dates you want to bring across.

  3. 02

    Check the columns and export

    Make Symbol, Status, Buy/Sell, Qty Filled, Avg Fill Price, Order Number, and Last Fill Time visible. Add Commission Fill Rate to import commissions. Export the table as CSV.

    Start an import in Tradeways

    In Tradeways, open Add Trades, choose File Upload, and select Rithmic R|Trader as the source.

  6. 04

    Set the time zone and review

    Upload the CSV and select the time zone named in the time column heading. Check the execution count, contracts, commissions, and skipped rows in the preview, then confirm.
