Does it work with TradingView paper trading?

Yes. It syncs the TradingView Paper Trading account on any TradingView chart in your browser: fills, stop and limit orders, positions, cash balance, deposits and withdrawals, and a chart screenshot for each new trade. Accounts at other brokers connected in TradingView aren't synced, and Bar Replay trades are left out.

Does it sync Tradovate live accounts, or only demo?

Both. Demo and live accounts each get their own journal account and never mix. Tradovate's own fees are imported with each trade: clearing, exchange, regulatory and commission. Futures sync; options and spreads are left out.

Can the extension place trades or touch my money?

No. It reads the trading data the platform page already receives and sends it to your journal. It can't place orders, withdraw funds or change account settings, and it never sees your platform password.

Do I have to keep the platform tab open?

Yes, while you trade. The extension reads the tab you trade in. When you open the platform again, it reads the account history the platform loads and imports the fills it hasn't seen.

What if my internet drops mid-session?

Fills wait in your browser and are sent once Tradeways can be reached again. A fill is never imported twice, and an expired sign-in keeps everything that is waiting.

Does it work on iPhone and iPad?

Yes, in Safari 18 or later. The App Store version is one app for Mac, iPhone and iPad. iOS pauses Safari in the background, so syncing resumes when Safari and the platform tab are open again.

Is there a Firefox version?

It's in review at Firefox Add-ons and will be listed here when it's available. Until then, use Chrome or Safari.

Which journal account do my trades go to?

Each platform account gets its own journal account on its first import, with its name and currency. You can send an account to another journal account, or ignore it, under Settings → Integrations. New accounts count toward your plan's account limit.

The extension is free to install. Syncing needs a Tradeways plan: Basic syncs one trading account, and Pro has no account limit. An account that doesn't fit your plan is held in the browser and flagged in the popup, not dropped.

Install it

Sign in with Tradeways
The extension opens Tradeways in your browser and you approve the connection there. It never asks for your platform login.

Open your platform and trade
A TradingView chart with Paper Trading connected, or the Tradovate web trader. Keep the tab open while you trade; fills sync as they happen.

Your accounts appear on their own
Each platform account becomes its own journal account on its first import, with its name and currency. Demo and live stay apart. Reassign or ignore one in Settings → Integrations.

Every new trade keeps its chart
A screenshot is taken the moment a live fill arrives, while the chart is still in front of you. Switch it off, or capture the whole platform page, in the extension's settings.
